The Alexander-Tharpe Fund (A-T) is a division of the Georgia Tech Athletic Association (GTAA) and serves as the primary fundraising arm, bringing in gifts and commitments of $22 million annually.

We are extremely grateful to our friends and fans of Georgia Tech athletics for their financial support.

Annual Giving

Annual giving funds current operations and includes the Athletic Scholarship Fund, AD Initiative, sport-specific gifts, and TECH Fund.

Georgia Tech seeks to permanently endow all of its athletic scholarships.

Your support makes state-of-the-art athletic facilities possible.
On 3.14, give to Jackets Without Borders - a program that focuses on global service-learning opportunities for Georgia Tech student-athletes. This trip’s mission is to provide student-athletes with an immersive cultural experience and the opportunity to perform impactful and meaningful work. Jackets Without Borders has been a transformational learning experience for our participants, as all have emerged with a greater sense of personal responsibility, cultural appreciation, and increased self-awareness. This group will travel to Puerto Rico in May to help with hurricane rehabilitation efforts in the local San Juan community. We are partnering with an organization called Global Works in order to provide help and resources to the communities with the highest need after Hurricane Maria.
